No. Va. Firm Recognized for Excellence in Advertising
Herndon, Virginia, November 6, 2007 - Vizuäl, Inc., a branding communications firm, was among the firms spotlighted by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) in its 2007 MarCom Awards competition.
In conjunction with the public relations firm Smith & Harroff (S&H), Vizuäl won AMCP's Gold Award for an advertisement created for the Nuclear Energy Institute. "We're very gratified to receive this award," notes Jeff Lupisella, principal at Vizuäl. "We enjoyed the opportunity to work with Smith & Harroff and NEI, and it was truly remarkable how well our three organizations worked together. I'm especially appreciative of S&H for bringing us in on the team."
Vizuäl designed four approaches for the advertisement that were market-tested nationally. All of the designs did well, but two in particular tested higher than the others. Smith & Harroff asked the firm to prepare the top-testing design in multiple formats for placement in a wide variety of publications. Vizuäl designers also created a variety of Flash™ versions of the print ad for use in an online advertising campaign.
