Business Development Pro Marks 5th Year with Branding Firm
Herndon, Virginia, December 15, 2008 - Vizual, a strategic branding firm located in Northern Virginia, today announced a milestone in a key employee's career with the organization. Chris Hall, the firm's VP for business development, who celebrates his fifth anniversary with the company this week, is one of the reasons for the firm's success.
Originally hired in December 2003 as Vizual's director of business development, Hall was promoted to his current position in July 2008. Principal Jeff Lupisella, who hired Hall, speaks highly of his colleague: "Chris has been an incredible asset to our team. His recent promotion illustrates his commitment to our firm, and vice versa. He not only excels at the art of business development and client relationships, he also possesses great leadership qualities and is a great person to work with. Oh yeah, he's also quite the triathlete, too!"
Prior to joining Vizual, Hall worked in the communications industry for nine years. "Most of my previous experience was related to advertising sales and management," Hall notes, "and my time with Vizual has been my first foray specifically into branding, marketing and design." Born in California, Hall grew up and lives in Maryland, and graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park.
In the time he's been with the firm, Hall has seen significant changes in the market: "Comparing today to five years ago is like night and day," he observes. "The Internet has become an even more powerful tool for both us and our clients, for one thing. Meanwhile, our industry's influence on clients has grown. We're no longer just about graphics or design, we are actually shaping and defining the brands of our clients."
In addition to the strong connections he's formed with his colleagues, Hall says he's proud of the many clients he has brought in who are still with Vizual. "It's always a great experience to start building a relationship and see it grow and flourish under the supervision and guidance of our team. When things click, it's a great feeling."
